In order to simplify the daily life of the management and improve the quality of work life for its staff, the CH of Cholet uses Hublo to manage its replacements. This application is both “intuitive and easy to use” according to Evelyne Orsonneau, senior health manager at the CH's nursing department. But above all, “it meets our need to address urgent and short-term absenteeism, with professionals familiar with our establishment.”
For Ms. Orsonneau, the priority is “to facilitate unexpected replacements, and therefore to ensure that our substitutes already know the establishment in order to be operational in a very short time.” That is why, out of nearly 700 substitutes in her pool, 87% are agents of the CH.
“It’s really a win-win situation” believes Evelyne Orsonneau, “because on one hand our substitutes apply autonomously for the missions that interest them, and on the other hand it saves time for the managers, who are also more at ease in managing replacements.”
The 12% of external temporary workers are made up solely of former employees, students, or professionals who had requested to join the CH's pool of substitutes before being redirected to Mstaff, its recruitment platform. Ms. Orsonneau considers Hublo as a “lever of attractiveness for the establishment” because, following replacements via Hublo, some temporary workers have applied for a position in the establishment on Mstaff, their recruitment platform.
Previously, the CH sometimes relied on temporary staff to cover absences. A solution that had two major drawbacks: a lack of visibility on the chosen skills and profiles, and longer availability times compared to Hublo. For Evelyne Orsonneau, “Hublo has the advantage of being less anxiety-inducing because we get responses very quickly as soon as we post a job offer.” Thus, since its implementation in the establishment, she explains that “the use of temporary staff has significantly decreased: Hublo has really changed the game.”
If the impact of Hublo has proven to be a success at the CH of Cholet, it is also thanks to the effective collaboration between the human resources department, the nursing department, and the Hublo team. “Our contacts understand our language, our needs, and are attentive to evolving the application as closely as possible to user feedback,” says Ms. Orsonneau.
