In March 2024, the Joint Management of Public Hospital and EHPAD Loire Beauce replaced Permuteo, its former replacement management tool, with Hublo, as Permuteo did not allow it to attract new temporary staff. With two-thirds of nurses and 75% of nursing assistants in France registered on Hublo, this solution was better suited to help this joint management, including the EHPAD Résidence Trianon, build a pool of temporary staff capable of meeting its numerous replacement needs.
Before Hublo, the EHPAD Résidence Trianon had fewer than 10 temporary staff. In just a few months, nearly 450 caregivers joined its pool thanks to the visibility offered by Hublo: “We frequently receive new requests to join our pool” reports Emma Maillard, deputy director of the establishment, “the pool is constantly evolving.”
Moreover, the ease of use and comfort provided by Hublo helps retain these new temporary staff, as Ms. Maillard explains: “The temporary staff who come to us are often the same; we have about ten temporary staff who carry out the majority of our missions.”
Among these new temporary staff, Emma Maillard has already recruited 4 professionals for fixed-term contracts. Indeed, “the missions on Hublo serve as a springboard for some” she asserts, “they can discover the establishment, its practices, and its teams, and if it’s a good fit, then they can take a position.” For her, “Hublo is a real recruitment channel.”
Since the implementation of Hublo, management quickly posts their missions without having to call agents in the hope of finding replacements. “For them, it is both practical, reassuring, and facilitating,” explains Emma Maillard, because “they only have to post the mission offers, which allows them to free up time for other important tasks.”
The agents, for their part, are relieved because “they are no longer disturbed during their rest time,” asserts Ms. Maillard. They are also more reassured on a daily basis “because they too are worried when the staff is not complete, as it means they have to work with reduced numbers. With Hublo, this risk is significantly reduced.”
