In October 2023, the Résidence de la Marne, which had just opened its doors, faced a major problem: incomplete staffing and no known temporary workers to compensate for the lack of personnel. It was therefore towards Hublo that Amandine Lahlou, IDEC at the Résidence, turned, along with the Hublo Pool, which allows for the dissemination of its unfilled missions to pre-qualified caregivers by Hublo, thus further extending its visibility.

Two complementary solutions to address the staffing shortage

In the first weeks during which Ms. Lahlou was building her pool of temporary workers, access to the Pool proved particularly useful: “It’s very effective: as soon as I post a mission and extend it to the Hublo Pool, I know it will be filled within 10 minutes.”

Another advantage of the Hublo Pool is that professionals position themselves on the posted missions, and therefore tend to return: “Changing temporary workers too often is complicated for the teams because they need to be re-trained. With the Hublo Pool, it’s simpler because the temporary workers come back, and therefore don’t need reintegration time.” explains Ms. Lahlou.

Today, the Résidence mainly relies on the Hublo Pool to find temporary IDE workers. The rest of the replacement needs are compensated by the solid pool of 279 temporary workers that Ms. Lahlou has built on the platform: “Hublo makes my life so much easier! I keep control over the profiles that come to work here, and I can manage everything from my phone.”

I managed to recruit two caregivers from the temporary workers I found through Hublo! While many prefer to work on a temporary basis, some appreciate stability.

An important gain in autonomy and time

According to Ms. Lahlou, Hublo allows everyone to increase their autonomy while streamlining collaboration around the management of replacements: “With Hublo, our night and weekend on-call staff can post their urgent needs. I am immediately notified, so it allows me to have real-time visibility!”

Another aspect of replacement management that Hublo simplifies is the HR side. “When I handle my contracts at the end of the month, I don’t need to run around to gather missing information or signatures... I save a tremendous amount of time thanks to the automatic contract generation and electronic signature.” explains Ms. Lahlou. The working time she saves is indeed very significant: “Before, it took me a considerable amount of time, whereas now it’s resolved in 1 hour. I must easily save 2 days a month!”
